Laminated metal composites are a promising design since the hybrid enables superior and tailorable material properties compared with bulk material. The article introduces for first time, laminated consisting of multiple bilayers alternating layers ductile high-strength steel processed by wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). layup is built up deposits made type wires. Governing parameters in fabrication process affecting properties, such as dilution, discussed. Enhanced fabricated WAAM investigated under static tensile, impact tension-tension high-cycle-fatigue loading to relating homogenous weld metal. Potential reasons retardation crack propagation findings roll-bonded conducted collaborative robot providing high level flexibility respect geometry scalability. Tailorability through WAAM-fabricated adds an important layer which has not been explored yet.
